Fractional Ownership Of The Moppie 570
MAIN>>FAQ
How much time can I reserve on the yacht?
Each share holder is entitled to 60 days a year with exclusive rights to the boat.
What if I want to use the yacht more than 60 days per year?
It is possible to own more than one share. You can also schedule extra time but will be required to pay a small premium due to maintance and scheduling.
Who owns the yacht?
The yacht is owned equally by the six shares issued by the single-purpose holding company, Evermarine.
What expenses do I pay?
Each or the six shareholders split the maintenance and docking fees equally, which is $500 per shareholder. In addition to this, the owners will be required to provide only extras such as fuel and food.
Do I have to be on board for my guests to use my time?
Guests, family, and clients can use your yacht times without your presence. The Evermarine staff are available to arrange the details.
I am concerned about partnering with multiple unknown owners.
Evermarine, by a 5-year management contract, is the sole manager of the yacht. A single owner or small group of owners cannot mandate the boat's operation to the disadvantage of the other owners. Evermarine's sole management control of the yacht removes potential for owner-to-owner conflict.
What if my situation changes and I want to sell my ownership?
Shareholders are free to sell their shares at any time. After five years, Evermarine will buy back your share for $200,000 if you wish to sell.
How do I schedule time aboard?
Time allocation will be agreed upon prior to share purchase for the following five years of yacht use.
Where will the yacht be based?
Evermarine can provide the yacht for you in ports in Panama and Costa Rica.
