The Azimut Verve 42 is a striking example of how performance, design, and luxury can be combined in a versatile sport yacht.
Conceived as a “weekender with superyacht DNA,” it brings together Italian styling with American-style outboard power, delivering both speed and comfort in equal measure.
Designed by Francesco Struglia with naval architecture from Michael Peters, the Verve 42 carries the family resemblance of the larger Verve 47 while offering a more compact platform that is easy to handle without sacrificing presence or capability.
At just under 13 meters in length, the Verve 42 is built around a carbon-reinforced hull with a double-stepped deep-V form and Michael Peters’ SVVT tunnel system, giving it outstanding efficiency and seakeeping. Powered by triple Mercury outboards of up to 450 horsepower each, the yacht is capable of reaching approximately 45 knots, while maintaining a stable, confident ride even in challenging conditions. Cruising at around 33 knots, it covers distances quickly and smoothly, making it equally suited for day trips, weekend escapes, or fast island-hopping.
Life on deck is centered around open-air socializing. A fold-down bulwark transforms into a sea-level platform, extending the cockpit into a private beach club. Wide sunpads forward and aft, along with a well-equipped outdoor galley, create spaces for both relaxation and entertaining. The helm station features triple sport seats and a glass bridge layout, providing the captain with excellent ergonomics and full control via joystick handling, making docking and maneuvering effortless.
Below deck, the Verve 42 surprises with its space and comfort. A bright, modern interior offers a private cabin, a convertible dinette, and a fully equipped head with a shower. With accommodation for up to four guests, it provides all the essentials for overnighting without compromising on style. High-quality materials, smart layouts, and generous glazing create an inviting, contemporary atmosphere rarely seen on boats in this class.
As with other Azimut models, customization and options allow owners to tailor the Verve 42 to their needs—whether adding stabilizers for comfort at anchor, premium audio-visual systems, or upgraded finish packages. The result is a yacht that delivers a thrilling driving experience, flexible accommodations, and the unmistakable character of Italian design.
