Description

Azimut has combined its impeccable Italian design flair with engineering skill in the Azimut 40. Don’t be deceived by the length of this easy-to-handle and maintain yacht. The Azimut 40 offers maximum liveability by making use of every square inch. It’s environmentally friendly, too.
The Azimut 40 shares the sleek lines of the entire Azimut Flybridge collection, its large interior spaces with airy modern décor flooded with sunshine. Light colors and natural fabrics suggest the freshness of an ocean breeze. Pickled oak, leather, and shining steel lend sophistication throughout the boat. (Non-pickled oak in honey color is optional.)

Both the flybridge and the bow have a sunpad. On the flybridge, the laterally positioned wheelhouse provides a better view, and its more compact size leaves more space for guests at the seating area and table.

On the main deck, the salon looks out at the deck through a glass wall and door, while light streams through large side windows. The L-shaped sofa converts to an extra bed and hides a storage compartment. The table seats six and can be moved into the cockpit.

On the lower deck, the compact, well-appointed galley includes two glass ceramic hot plates and a refrigerator/freezer that holds as much as 190 liters. The master cabin features the traditional hatch as well as large glass windows that open for ventilation. The master cabin has a double bed and two generous, cedar-lined wardrobes. The VIP cabin has twin beds. Its large windows offer guests a scenic vista, and the porthole opens to admit breezes. Both bathrooms have teak floors and Vetrofeddo® washbasins.

The equipment on the Azimut 40 is easy to use. The Easy Docking joystick helps when mooring. The patented Easy Handling system for tacking assistance adds safety through increased steering precision. The Proteo system manages use of the main electrical loads to prevent blackouts. Its touch-screen monitors all the onboard systems. Maintenance is simplified because Azimut has designed the systems for easy access. Since the first lamination layers of the hull are made with vinylester resin, the boat carries a five-year warranty against osmosis.

The Azimut 40 lowers its impact on the environment by using high-power LEDs that consume less electricity, applying thermostatic mixes upstream of the system to distribute hot water immediately and efficiently, and ventilating the living area with a concealed hatchway.
