With its large stern bathing platform and flying bridge, the Azimut 48 is ideal for fun in the sun. A host of features conspire for a luxurious, comfortable and safe getaway for family and friends.

On the flybridge, the dinette includes a center table with space for a refrigerator, a galley-equipment drawer, and a storage compartment in its base and a barbecue hotplate as well as a beam-wide, six-person divan. The seating stretches sternward, ideal for sunbathing. An ergonomically cushioned sunpad adds more tanning space on the bow. The driving position is off-center to the port side, improving lateral visibility to assist navigation and safe mooring.

On the main deck, the cockpit has a comfortable four-person divan that conceals access to the stern locker. A minibar can be installed under the divan; the locker can be made into a crew cabin with private WC.

At the stern, the up and down bathing platform is like a private beach. Its 410 kg load capacity lets it house the tender. On the bow is a sunbathing area for two people. Large walkways with high steel handrails keep boaters safe as they move from one area to another.

The interior salon has a C-shaped sofa that can, optionally, pull out as a double bed. Storage lockers are hidden beneath the sofa. The height of the folding table can be adjusted electrically, and the table can be extended for dining. Owners can choose to have a second sofa, or a large storage cabinet. The dinette, with two sofas for four people and a small folding table, is close to the pilot’s helm station.

On the lower deck is the galley, thoroughly equipped with a large pantry, 190-liter refrigerator, steel sink, work surface, three-burner cooktop with hood, microwave, and dishwasher compartment.

Below decks are three twin-bed cabins and two bathrooms with separate showers. Three-segment, rectangular panoramic windows provide light; a porthole opens to the ocean air.

The owner’s cabin also has rectangular windows and an openable porthole. Two wardrobes and under-bed compartments give ample storage space. Mirrored sliding doors in the private bathroom hide fitted cabinets; washbasins are elegant cognac-colored glass.
